Travel to Humacao
Airport
Most participants will arrive to the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in Carolina, Puerto Rico.
Airport Shuttle
The Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Palmas del Mar, Humacao, Puerto Rico offers transportation to and from the international airport for a fee: $90 divided among up to 4 passengers, $20 per person for 5-8 passengers. Airport shuttle transportation can be requested during registration. Participants who prefer to make their reservations directly can call Palmas Transportation at 787-285-4323 (Daisy or Juan Antonio). The trip to Humacao takes approximately 50 minutes during normal trafic hours.
Taxi
The cost of a taxi drive from the International Airport to Humacao is approximately $77.00 according to the most recent data from the Puerto Rico Office of Tourism. Before taking a taxi be sure to get a quote with the correct price from the Office of Tourism at the Airport.
Car Rental
Participants interested in renting a car at the airport will be able to choose between many companies.
Reservations can be made through travel websites using the airport code SJU.
The cost of parking at Palmas del Mar is approximately $10 per day. Car Rental Companies at Humacao include AVIS with an office at the conference
hotel and VIAS Car Rental located near the entrance to Palmas del Mar Resort.
